DAILY ASSIGNMENT OUTLINE

DESCRIPTION OF TASK

These are projects that can be assigned daily with other elective courses. 

Each student is to complete work based on their own grade level or ability.

 

  • Time Monitored Math Assignment (or simple math assignment if instructor not available)
  • Time Monitored Writing Assignment (or simple writing assignment if instructor not available)
  • 15-30 Minutes of Video Recorded Reading (or supervised reading if no camera is available)
  • Write and Complete 5 Math Story Problems (math operations based on instructor request)
  • Use a specified spelling list and write the definitions and a sentence using each word.
  • Create a fact or fiction, true or false worksheet using your specified spelling list.
  • Write in your journal the steps you took today towards accomplishing a specific goal.
  • Elective Assignment Given by Your Instructor: (history, social studies, science, geography, etc.)
  • Elective Assignment Given by Your Instructor: (art, music, crafts, religion, business, agriculture, home economics, field trips, etc.)
  • Elective Outdoor Assignment Given by Your Instructor: (Building or maintenance projects, etc.)

Things to Remember

  1. Be sure to write your name and date on all of your loose assignments that are not in a notebook. Loose assignments should be kept in a folder.
  2. Be sure to summarize your reading assignments in a short video or written summary.
  3. Be sure to keep a detailed written record/log of your reading assignments in your folder/book bag. (A reading log will be provided for you).
  4. Be sure to check off all completed assignments on this daily assignment log.
  5. Be sure to see your instructor to get specifics on timed assignments and word list.
  6. Be sure to get a detailed schedule of all planned outdoor elective assignments, and keep accurate records of start-times, finish times, and goals for each project.
